Never Enough!

As We Age..

August 2012 was a satisfed month.

I was in Kokrajhar helping my Bodo brothers and sisters who are being forced to stay at various relief camps because of ethnic violence in the BTAD area of Assam.

As usual, my camera took in a lot of pain. I had to take in some pain to capture a few happy moments. 

Here are a few from the perspective of age glorifying bodo women.

I remember the Singing Old Man in Jaisalmer Fort..

He was sitting in a small corner with his thread string guitar..

I requested him to sing something.

He was elated, but somewhere deep inside there was pain.

Playing with Lights !

Playing with lights is a great way to spend time with your camera,

and understand its response !

An evening out the swimming pool !

When you are bored in a room with good looking lights ...

In an empty road, with just the street lights...

Another night in a beach dark enough not to see the sea. But there were a few bulbs in a nearby shack.

 

Looks ordinary, but I clicked some 10 photographs to get this effect !

This was with my tripod, old monk and a 5 seconds exposure...

Cat-like

It was in Prithvi Theatre, Juhu that I was chasing a cat with the Lumia in my hand, like we chase chickens in a farm. Suddenly, he looked at me.. my trigger happy hand clicked.

The chase was so cat-like,

The photograph came out so cat-like.

Catching the Fire !

It was cold. It was Jaisalmer.

It was getting hot. I was getting high on Old Monk.

Next thing I remember running to get my tripod.
